ORCID integration
The only conference app in Brazil integrated with ORCID.
Every app includes sign-in with ORCID at no extra cost. An ORCID Institutional Member since 2025, Galoá also sends the congress papers to the authors' ORCID records, and the credit for reviews done on the platform to the reviewers' records, with no manual entry.

Before we talk
Questions about the app
Does the app replace the event website?
No. The website carries the congress's public presence; the app goes with those already registered, with the programme, alerts and a personal agenda. Many committees use both.
Do we need to contract the whole platform to get the app?
No. The app is a service of its own. When the congress already runs on Galoá, registration, programme and certificates share the same record. When it does not, the committee imports the programme or enters it directly on the platform.
How much does the app cost?
Each congress gets its own proposal. Tell us in the form how many participants the edition expects and what it needs, and we will send a quote. For participants, downloading the app is free.
How long does it take for the app to be ready?
An app under the congress's own brand is ready from 7 days after signing. Once it is published, the programme can be edited at any time, and the updates reach phones connected to the internet.
Can the app carry the congress or the association brand?
Yes. The congress can join the Galoá app, already in the stores, or get an app under its own brand. A congress app brings together that congress's events; an association app also shows the digital membership card. All of them are on the App Store and Google Play.
Do participants need to create a new account?
If they registered on Galoá, participants use the same login. They can also sign in with ORCID.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. The programme already downloaded to the phone stays available without internet. To receive new notices from the organizers and update the programme, the phone needs to connect.
Which languages does the app support?
Portuguese, Spanish, English and French.
Does the app take live questions during sessions?
Yes. During the session, participants send their question through the app. Questions are moderated and can be anonymous.
Does the app handle check-in and attendance tracking?
Yes, by QR code or badge scan, and attendance feeds the certificates. If the congress wishes, the certificate is issued automatically once the participant reaches the minimum attendance.
Can papers and presentations be evaluated in the app?
Yes. Evaluators enter their scores on the phone, and the committee follows the totals in real time, with no spreadsheet to add up at the end of the day.
What do sponsors get from the app?
